Program description
ReviewBeam sends post-visit customer feedback and review request messages on behalf of local service businesses (barbershops, salons, repair shops). End users are existing customers of these businesses. Message frequency: one message per completed visit. Message and data rates may apply.
How customers opt in (verbal, at the point of service)
Customers provide their phone number directly to the business, in person. Before any message is sent, business staff ask for consent using this script:
"Would you like to receive a one-time text from us so you can share feedback about today's visit? Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Saying yes is not required to receive service or make a purchase."
What happens after opting in
Only customers who explicitly answer yes are entered into ReviewBeam. They receive a single SMS identifying the business by name, for example: "Hi Sam! Thanks for visiting Jon's Chop Shop. Would you mind sharing how it went? It takes 20 seconds: [link] Reply STOP to opt out." The link leads to a short feedback page. No marketing or promotional content is ever sent.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately and automatically. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Phone numbers are collected only from the customer directly, never purchased, rented, or scraped, and never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
